Chief Accountant

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing full accounting for the company, including preparation and submission of financial reports and tax payments for IT business operations;
• Handling accounting and tax reporting for a Diia.City resident company;
• Preparing and submitting tax invoices for VAT-registered companies;
• Ensuring compliance with annual and quarterly audits;
• Managing employees under both employment contracts and gig contracts, including staff booking;
• Handling up to 50 individual entrepreneurs (FOPs), including bookkeeping, tax payments, and declaration submissions (3rd group, 5% without VAT);
• Processing payments and creating invoices and acts for employees during payroll;
• Managing distributed accounts in Monobank and PrivatBank for salary payments;
• Performing limited HR and military recordkeeping until a dedicated specialist is assigned;
• Submitting CFC (Controlled Foreign Company) reports;
• Preparing and submitting reports to the State Statistics Service, with knowledge of Tax Code procedures;
• Calculating sick leaves and vacation pay, issuing advances, and communicating with employees regarding payments;
• Controlling primary documentation (preparing and processing orders, applications, and other official documents);
• Assisting in optimizing reporting processes;
• Communicating effectively with colleagues across departments, demonstrating tact and teamwork.
  
  

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience in full accounting for IT companies, including interaction with FOPs;
• Knowledge of VAT procedures and tax reporting requirements;
• Experience with payroll processes and distributed account management;
• Familiarity with audit procedures;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple financial operations simultaneously;
• Experience with both local and foreign legal entities;
• Basic HR and military recordkeeping knowledge;
• Experience with 1C and Vchasno services.
  
  

It will be useful if you have:

• Experience with Google Docs, Slack, Notion;
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software;
• Experience working with crypto accounts;
• Understanding of management reporting and ability to prepare financial analytics.
